Back to HK

This is the 3rd day we've come back from China....

Currently Kaydyn is with granny in HZ. The night before our flight was as I expected - difficult and emotional. I couldn't help tearing up everytime I think about Kay's face and smile.

He's changed a lot since my last entry. He's louder than before, wanting to talk to you with his yah-yah language, he'll giggle and sometimes laugh on his own. He's very good at working at his bouncy chair, impressing everyone who sees him. His smile is the sweetest. Now he knows who he wants to go to, he'll lean himself towards that person, it's usually me, granny or daddy. First day we arrived in HZ, Kay wasn't too keen on being surrounded by so many people. He was a bit nervous, he didn't cry though which was why everybody was so impressed and interested.

Now time flies, Kay is very used to be with many people in the same room, he's getting more and more comfortable and he knows where he can go to if he wants it. Granny will always be there for him. He welcomes others by lifting his hand out to people for them to kiss *heh* and then followed by a sweet smile.

So far Kay is good at rolling around but still doesn't manage to crawl forward, he can go backward but not forward. We've tried to stimulate him by tempting him with toys and stuff in front but the more he wants it, the more he moves backward! :) We all wonder if Kay will be like daddy who one day just get up and walk. Daddy never crawl :)

Today granny said that Kay started to 'walk' a few steps with her help. He's leaning by the sofa for support. Well at least it's a great start, I am so proud of Kaydyn! This is another milestone! I can't wait to see him walk :)

Today rains a lot. Mom went to Sai Kung Jockey Club training center for a whole day of staff development. Very tired and hot. Had a massive headache attack when we got back to school. Daddy got some good progress at work too and had a meeting with people to talk about his PhD topics. So all going at a good direction.

Granny had a fun day too, seeing Kay crawl, apparently he crawls in the soldier style (Chinese), I've asked for photos already!

Today when granny was feeding Kay rice, he constantly lifting his arm up and look at his fingers. Mom didn't pay attention to that thinking he was just playing. But he repeatedly do that and mom thought could it be something stuck in between his fingers. Turned out there really was a grain of rice stick in between his fingers. Smart Kay! ^_^ so cute!

Saw more Kay's pic today which was always nice. First time I saw it, of course I can't help but cry a bit thinking how nice would it be if I can be there too. But the thought of all the benefit that Kay is enjoying, I confirm myself once again that this is a good idea......
